EXPLOSIVE ring combat swings to Cavite on December 12 as the keenly-anticipated eighth installment of the very exciting Casino Filipino (CF) Battle Extreme Tournament of Superstars (BETS) series unfurls at the San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona.
Facing off in the main event of the nine-fight spectacle organized by CF in partnership with the Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) through Live Artists Production are local gladiator Ernie Braca of Tiger City Boxing Gym and South Korean Kim Ki-Sung of Wang Ho and Top Gym BF.
The co-main event, meanwhile, will pit Solomon Dultra of Toughguys International opposite Dave Bangguigui of Fight Corp MMA.

Coming off a knockout victory over Ary Arias in the Arzalet Fighting Globe Championship in February last year, Braca will be gunning for his fourth triumph in seven professional starts against Kim, who scored an emphatic technical knockout win over Neil Larano in CF BETS V after an unsuccessful pro debut against Mark Striegl in CF BETS IV.
Dultra, boasting a 6-2 (win-loss) record but seeking to bounce back from defeat during his last fight in the URCC 30 last year, will have his hands full against Bangguigui whose most recent victory came via first round submission of Andy Ligao in CF BETS IV last June.
Another much-awaited tiff is the women’s flyweight division battle between Tin Simopao of Panama BM MMA, who sports a 1-3 card, and Dolores Meek of Mindanao Ultimate Mixed Martial Arts MUMMA (1-1)
“If MMA fans enjoyed our previous CF BETS series, we guarantee that they’ll be treated to another high level of combat entertainment in the eighth staging of this fight spectacle. All fighters are evenly matched to ensure action-packed sequences from start to finish,” said Bong Quintana, Assistant VP for Entertainment of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
Other featured matches in the CF BETS VIII will have Miguel Mosquera (Subsports PH) going up against Jorlan Formentera (Yachadelich MMA), Jun Fagyan (Fight Corp MMA) vs. Cho Seung Hyun (Top Gym BF), Mark Allen Fabriga (Safehouse Fight Academy) vs. Adrian Francisco (Oryx MMA / D‘ Elements), Rick Lucena (Yawyan Fervilleon Matayog/ Team Kampilan) vs. Charles Diao (Yachadelich MMA), Moises Ilongon (Subsports PH) vs. Ely Fernandez (Mindanao Ultimate Mixed Martial Arts) and Jeilord Alvarez (Hyper MMA) vs Jessie Bitaga (Elorde Prime Nuvali Laguna).
