On September 15, 2016, the National Book Development Board (NBDB), in partnership with the Book Development Association of the Philippines (BDAP), is hosting a one-day forum on Rights Exchange during the 37 th Manila International Book Fair in Meeting Rooms 5 & 6 at the SMX Convention Center.
The Rights Exchange Forum, which will run from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM, aims to spur business transactions between and among industry players. It will provide a venue for content creators to interact with prospective publishers, as well as for publishers looking to develop content and trade licenses.

Reservation of slots is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fee for NBDB and/or BDAP members is Php300.00 and fee for non-members is Php500.00.
To join the forum, please follow these steps:
1. Pre-register by sending an email with the subject line “Sign me up for the Rights Exchange Forum (Morning/Afternoon/Whole-day session)” to events@nbdb.gov.ph. Include your name, designation, company name, type of content/manuscript, mobile number, and two (2) preferred slots in the body of the email. Please note that your preferred slots may not be available at short notice.
2. Remit payment to the Book Development Association of the Philippines (BDAP). Account details will be shared upon confirmation of your pre-registration via email.
3. Email a copy/photo of the deposit slip to events@nbdb.gov.ph.
For the morning session, please note that enterprises can only register two (2) participants in the forum, the succeeding participant from the same enterprise shall be waitlisted.
In the afternoon, an enterprise can only be represented by one (1) participant, the succeeding participant shall be waitlisted.
