Empire Salon, the newest salon located inside Intercontinental Hotel in Makati City that has been generating buzz in the beauty/ fashion industry, has recently launched its Summer hairstyle collection via an exclusive mini show at Prive club at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
Dubbed “Pastellic,” the show featured a playful blend of candy and gem hues. Salon manager Angie Manabat explains that “not everyone can wear pastel colors so some can wear metallic panels instead. The colors are not very loud and there is a playful twist as well."
“The Pastellic Collection is the interpretation of London hairstyle fashion to the Filipino market; we only used touches of pastels instead of doing the full-blown job,” Creative Director Sokie Mendoza said.
The Empire Salon is a full-service salon that offers private suites for guests who wish to enjoy their pampering time in their own exclusive corner. The suite is also equipped with a computer tablet making one’s visit to the salon a more pleasurable experience.
Empire Salon only started operations during the last quarter of 2013 and yet, their services have already been in demand in the fashion circuits. Last March 7, The British embassy engaged the services of the Empire Salon team as the make-up and hairstylist of the British fashion show.
Just recently, Manila Bulletin entered an arrangement with Empire Salon to provide hair and make-up service to their models for their Arabian Nights themed Thanksgiving Dinner this April 2014.
One of the highlights of the event was the unveiling of an editorial headpiece which the whole team worked on. This collaboration is a “testament and manifestation of our creative vision and hard work,” Mendoza remarked.
