The La Salle Institute of Governance and the DLSU Society of Fellows invite everyone to join in remembering the legacy of the late Local Government Secretary and Naga City Mayor Jesse M. Robredo by attending the showing of the video-documentary film Ehem!plo.
The film will be shown on August 31, 2012, Friday, 3 pm, at the William Shaw Little Theater. Admission is FREE.
SYNOPSIS
The 2007 film depicted how young people, like Melonie Maglia of Ifugao, longed for leaders with conscience and competence, not public officials who, according to Fr. Vhong Navarro, invented projects for selfish interests. Mayor Jesse Robredo of Naga City proved that good governance by strengthening transparency and accountability processes can help improve the conditions of local residents.
