MMFF 2010, 2011 & Beyond: 10 Points

The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) has been one of the most controversial film events in the Philippines every year. Here is my forecast of the films that may compete in the 2012 MMFF.

You may also check out the following as references:

Jose Rizal: The First Hero (a documentary)

Maestro Film Foundation presents a new documentary entitled Jose Rizal: The First Hero directed by Paolo Abella and produced by Jourdan Sebastian, in cooperation with  Fluidpost and Bigtop. The film is written by Christian Vallez, Jonathan Guillermo and Joem Torallba, while directors of photography are Arvin Viola and Odyssey Flores, production design by Nina Torres and wardrobe of Jose Rizal was created by John Ablaza.

Top 10 Most Viewed Youtube Videos of 2011

Rewatch this year's most viewed Youtube videos of 2011. Fil-Am Youtube sensation Maria Aragon's cover of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" landed on the 8th spot.  And this is the only time I got to know about Karmin (a duo act from Boston, Massachusetts - Amy Heidemann & Nic Noonan) and their music blew me away! Their cover of "Look At Me Now" by Chris Brown featuring Lil Wayne & Busta Rhymes made it on the 6th spot. I'm now a new fan!

I suggest watch #6 first, #8 second, then watch the rest in random order. Watch all the 10 videos below. Enjoy!

The branded phones, which range from the classic bar to the popular QWERTY and Android, only sell for P10,000 and below. Amazing, isn't it? You can have the features of the phone that you like while making it also affordable and still be in style. This is the answer to other brands whose prices continue to become so expensive.
