Business leaders shared their expertise at the e-Services 2010 Presscon

In preparation for the e-Services 2010: Global Sourcing Conference & Exhibition which will be held on February 8-9, 2010 at the SMX Convention Center, The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) organized a presscon on January 20, 2010 at the Board of Investment Penthouse in Makati City. 

CITEM is the trade promotions agency of the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry. "Bright Skied Ahead: Collaborating for Smarter Business Solutions" is the theme of the conference. SMX Convention Center is located at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, Philippines.

Some big names in the different business industries shared their expertise, their forecast and how to maximize global outsourcing efficiently in the Philippines.

Usec. Elmer C. Hernandez of Department of Trade & Industry gave his opening remarks. Since he could not make it to the event, his speech was read by his representative.

Judith V. Lopez presented her paper on "IT/BPO Global Update: The Landscape of ICT/BPO After the Crisis." She is the Chairman and Senior Partner of Pricewaterhousecoopers Philippines.

Charlie Villaseñor discussed "The Importance of Supply Management on Globalization." He is Chairman of Procurement and Sourcing Institute of Asia (PASIA).

Andre Angelo "Dino" S. Santos shared his testimony on partnership in the banking industry. He is the Vice President (Corporate Banking Group) of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI).

James Donovan shared his experience on doing international business, BPO and investment banking. He is the President/CEO of American Data Exchange Corporation (AMDATEX).
