Why did you join Misters 2015? What's your inspiration/ motivation in joining pageants like Misters 2015?
JC: I have a passion for inspiring people, and I want to particularly motivate and empower the youth of the Philippines to be able to compete in the global society that live in. The Filipinos are very hardworking, humble and faithful. I want to make a difference and a change in society - to be an inspiration. I want to use my image to inspire people and be the light which sparks the fire in their hearts to chase their dreams and start ambitions.
I want to serve as an example to show that everyone can achieve their goals with hardwork, perseverance and prayer. I will encourage people to help each other, make differences and changes to build a better economy so that the Philippines can become a competitor in this global society we live in and to be proud as a Filipino.
What kind of preparation do you do for Misters 2015?
JC: Blood, sweat, and tears. No sleep. No wasting time, maintaining health fitness and happiness by being enthusiastic and eclectic! There's a lot of people who won't believe in the same things you do, who won't see things the way you do, who will make misconceived judgments on what you do, and laugh at who you're trying to be. That's why working hard to better yourself is a lonely road, because no one understands that pain, that 6AM waking up, and those late night grinds! Sometimes it's better to work hard in silence, surround yourself with positive people, keep hitting your personal goals and radiate your happiness.
What are the pageants have you joined so far (both local and international)?
JC: Only the Mr. Philippines UK 2014 where I was first exposed to the stage of pageantry. It was all for my mum and family - to make them proud.
It was in England. I won best casual wear, best in swim wear, and the title of Mr. Philippines UK 2014.
D.
What do you consider the sexiest part of your body and/or face? Why?
JC: I've been told my sexiest part of me is my smile and physique. Although it is very humbling, I do not indulge myself in too much compliments.
What is your best asset? Why?
JC: I think my best asset is my personality and mentality towards life, time and family. I have a vision, ambition and dream to be successful and to inspire the younger generation - especially in the Philippines. I want to make a difference in the world and make my parents proud. My parents have raised me well and carefully, my mum is very compassionate and my father is very wise - they are my heart and mind, and life is my soul. I pursue happiness and represent the successes of hard work.
Which part of your body (or face) would you like to improve on? Why?
JC:
Brief or boxer shorts?
JC: Either. Whatever fits more comfortable and is practical throughout the plan of the day ahead but at the same time looks sexy and stylish. You’ll never know when they’ll be seen.
Your romantic ideas about love:
JC: Love is indescribable and abstract. Although my mind always projected love to be a dynamic force which gravitates two people in love on earth. I would describe romance to be electric, red and forever a surprise.

What do you do to keep yourself busy?
JC: Working hard to improve myself everyday: reading, maintaining my fitness, and exploring my limits. Use and value every second of time.
If you are given superpowers, what would it be and why?
JC: The fact that I am alive and have been raised the way I am, I believe is a superpower already. I would also like to control time. Either that or be a Marvel Superhero!

JC: I am always hungry for improving myself and meeting new people to open opportunities. I am explosive in movement and spontaneous - never stop moving.

JC: Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
Full Quote:
"...Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
